Announcing NYU SPS Center for Global Affairs Senior Fellows

To mark its 15th anniversary, NYU SPS Center for Global Affairs is delighted to introduce our first cohort of non-resident fellows. This group of exceptional practitioners brings a wealth of experience in global affairs and will be sharing it with our students and the wider community through a number of research projects and engagement activities.  

Rina Amiri, an Afghan researcher and advocate, has worked in academia, civil society, the UN, and advised the US government. She has served as a Senior Expert in the UN Standby Team of Mediation Experts and as a senior advisor to US Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan, Ambassador Richard Holbrooke.    


Andras Vamos-Goldman, a former Canadian diplomat, was pivotal to the founding of the Justice Rapid Response, a civil society organization that is a recognized global leader in the professionalization of the investigation of international crimes. He served as its Executive Director from 2009 to 2018.  


Leslie Palti-Guzman is President and co-founder of GasVista and an advisor at The Rapidan Group. She provides analysis of global natural gas markets, liquefied natural gas (LNG), cross-border pipeline politics, and unconventional gas. Previously she worked at the Eurasia Group.
